Today, January 3, 2020, in the Republic of Bashkortostan, a “dry law” is in effect: the sale of alcoholic beverages is prohibited in the region. On January 4, 5 and 6, the sale of alcohol will be limited in time – from 10 a.m. to two in the afternoon, local time. The relevant law entered into force on December 30, 2019.
As the speaker of the parliament of Bashkortostan Konstantin Tolkachev noted, the introduction of restrictions is a necessary measure, since according to statistics, precisely on January 3 there is a peak in alcohol poisoning. According to him, most often these poisonings are associated not with a surrogate, but with excessive drinking.
The local branch of the All-Russian public organization "Young Guard of United Russia" in Sterlitamak conducted a raid on the sale of alcohol as part of the direction "Control".
Activists checked more than 10 outlets to identify the sale of alcoholic beverages in the city of Sterlitamak.
During the raid, the fact of the sale of alcohol in two outlets was established. On the spot, police officers drafted an offense report.
Recall, according to the terms of the “Stop Surrogate” campaign, monetary compensation will be paid to citizens who have informed about the underground production and sale of the surrogate. For information about producers of surrogate alcohol – 50 thousand rubles, about the seller – 2000 rubles.
